Good afternoon Rotokauri families,
We hope you are all well and adjusting to life in Level 4 lockdown. Now that we are in our second day of lockdown routines will be falling in to place. Classroom teachers have sent emails to all families with suggestions for activities that students (and their families) can do to maintain learning at this time. Please keep learning fun!! We would love to share children’s work or experiences during lockdown on our Facebook page so send Miss Smith an email and share it with her. The Ministry has given limited access to staff to enter the school grounds so we hope that students have all that they need. We are also awaiting an email from the Ministry regarding distribution of hard copy work or access to school iPads/Chromebooks if required by families. Check your emails later today as we will be sending out a survey (similar to last lockdown) in regards to access to IT equipment and Internet, and whether families will be needing to send their children to school under Level 3 due to their classification as essential workers. If you have any questions or concerns please email Miss Smith.
We can do this Rotokauri School families and community. Please keep well and safe.
